JavaScript

FormulaZone requires that JavaScript is enabled on your browser to function properly. Without it, Help will not work, Rating Recipes will not work, the Meal Designer (add a Recipe) will not work, as well as other key features.

To enable Javascript, follow these directions:

Firefox

  1. In the Menu bar, click on Tools.
  2. Select Options.
  3. In the window that appears, on the left side, click on the button Web Features.
  4. On the right side of the window, several options will appear.
  5. Check the box for Enable Javascript.
  6. Click the OK button.

Netscape

  1. In the Menu bar, click on Edit.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. In the window that appears, on the left side, click on the word Advanced.
  4. On the right side of the window, several options will appear.
  5. Check the box for Enable Javascript for Navigator.
  6. Click the OK button.

Internet Explorer

  1. In the Menu bar, click on Tools.
  2. Select Internet Options.
  3. In the window that appears, click on the tab at the top titled Security.
  4. Click the button titled Custom Level.
  5. Under the group Scripting, under sub-group Active Scripting, ensure Enabled is checked.
  6. Click the OK button.

Cookies

Cookies are Disabled.

FormulaZone requires that Cookies are enabled on your browser to function properly. Without cookies, you will not be able to log in.

To enable Cookies, follow these directions:

FireFox

  1. select the Tools menu.
  2. Select Options.
  3. In the window that appears, on the left side, click on the button that says Privacy.
  4. On the right side, to the left of the word Cookies, click the small arrow to expand the Cookies section.
  5. In the sub-list that appears, check the box next to Allow Sites to Set Cookies.
  6. Click the OK button.

Netscape

  1. select the Edit menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. In the window that appears, on the left side, click on the small arrow next to Privacy and Security (click the small arrow down to view more sub-items under Privacy and Security).
  4. In the sub-list that appears, select Cookies.
  5. Check Enable all Cookies.
  6. Click the OK button.

Internet Explorer

  1. In the Menu bar, click on Tools.
  2. Select Internet Options.
  3. In the window that appears, click on the tab at the top titled Security.
  4. The slider needs to be at Medium High or lower in order to accept cookies from FormulaZone.
  5. Under the group Scripting, under sub-group Active Scripting, ensure Enabled is checked.
  6. If you do not wish to turn down your Privacy settings, you can allow cookies from formulazone by clicking the Edit button at the bottom of the Internet Options Privacy page. In this page, you can enter www.formulazone.com and click Allow, which will give your browser permission to take cookies from formulazone without compromising your overall privacy settings.
  7. Click the OK button.
